This past week we said goodbye to a very devoted and active member of our club, Pat Johannes. Pat was a person who always gave of herself to others, during her long career in education and as a volunteer for Rotary and at the Little Sisters of the Poor in Palatine. She went on a service trip with our club to Ak' tenamit in Guatemala, served as chair of our scholarship committee and was always willing to help at our events.
