Rotary will partner with the library for the annual Rotary Read Events. The date is set for Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 7pm. Rotary will make a $500 donation to purchase books and treats for the kiddos.
120 Cars for the show How much can we make as a possible fundraiser? Good way to promote the club and it is an excellent partnership that will help us to focus and grow more as fundraisers. Kris and Paula will look at what types of food to serve. Maybe Panera, Country Donuts and/or Jewel. Stay tuned for more details.
James will Chair. Members-Michelle, Suzie, Donna, Paula, and Ted. They all have their assignments. Looking at sites, getting more information on costs, fundraising ideas and design selection.
We sent two students to be interviewed by the District, Valerie, Rita and I met with them again on April 22nd and their interview was April 27. We are waiting to find out if they will be awarded scholarships by the District. Since yesterday I texted the committee members and we have decided to award $500 scholarships from the club to the two students, Jocelyn Carlos and Albino Peraza.
