Hello Rotarians,

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all dads, grandparents, stepdads and father figures.  Your work with your families is the most important work you do and is appreciated.

This week there is NO Thursday morning meetingOn Tuesday evening at 6 pm, the new BBRC Board under incoming President Mark Gibson will be installed at the Garlands by our incoming District 6440 Governor, Julie Clark.  Dinner will be served.

Also, later this week, several club members will travel to Toronto for the Rotary International Convention which should be a great experience.  We will also have the chance to meet up with our sister district in Taiwan for breakfast while we are there.  It is a chance to make connections globally - make new friends and renew friendships with old ones, and also to be inspired.

As we end this Rotary year, it is a good time to reflect on our accomplishments, which are many and are also impressive.  We are very vibrant club.  I have attached a multi-page document of our accomplishments this year.  Each line actually represents many hours of work by our volunteers.  Each and every line is important to our club's functioning!    I am constantly amazed at what members of this club accomplish in our community and also globally!  Everyone in this club follows the motto "Service Above Self" and by doing so, improves our world.  We are "Making a Difference" and everyone in the club should be proud of our accomplishments.

Don't forget the Food Pantry pick-up and delivery Tuesday June 26 at 5:30 pm and Wednesday, June 27 at 8:30 am.   Our next official Thursday morning meeting is June 28 at 7 am at the Garlands.

Yours in Rotary,

Kristine Young
