Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an all-expense-paid, three day camp with students from area high schools. It costs $350, which the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club will pay if a student is accepted for scholarship.  The camp is fun and recreational while focusing on leadership skills, personal development, and citizenship. Low ropes course, campfires, skits, outdoor problem solving, team building activities, and music are part of the weekend. Speakers include Leadership Consultant Tom Carroll, gold medalist Rick Metzger, activist against hunger Joshua Williams, motivational speaker Chris Norton, actress Erin Cahill, and others.  Applications for scholarships for March 9-12 or April 13-16 are available at  https://rotary6440.org/page/ryla-application/ or at the Resource Center at Barrington High School.
