Why did I join Rotary?
I was first introduced to Rotary when BBRC provided a scholarship for a Harper student pursuing a career in allied health. I attended a breakfast meeting to support the scholarship recipient when she spoke to the Club. Narayan Murarka then contacted me and explained all the benefits of Rotary, so I joined!

What experiences/projects/events have I most enjoyed and/or gained the most from my participation?

I’ve truly enjoyed all the projects and events I’ve been involved with. I am proud that we explored hosting a “street fest” for a few years. It was a lot of work, but the Club came together and hosted wonderful events. I chaired the “kids zone,” and it was a blast. I also enjoy participating in KidsFest and watching the families participate in great activities and eat at the Rotary Grill! Finally, I am most proud of the number of new members we welcomed to the Club when I was president. The Membership Committee was awesome and creative.

What three things do I enjoy doing during my free time?
    1. Play with my grandchildren!
    2. Read to my grandchildren!
    3. Spend time with my grandchildren!
