Another of our BBRC COVID-19 response actions has been completed: One of our future speakers (Joe Podlasek, for June 11) who runs the only Native American Cultural Center in Illinois, “Trickster,” located in Schaumburg identified 50 homebound veterans unable to go to food pantries. The Cultural Center asked for certain items: Games, Books (anything that stimulates the mind and distracts from isolation), Paper Towels, Canned Bushes Baked Beans, Canned Beef Stew, Canned Chef BRD Ravioli, Motts Applesauce.
