Service Above Self
The Barrington Rotary Club (BRC) takes to heart Rotary's motto "Service Above Self," which succinctly conveys the philosophy of unselfish volunteer service. Our members, like all Rotarians, work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio.

Considering Membership?
BBRC is looking for local professionals who are interested and have the ability to get involved in service and humanitarian projects. Membership in our club provides the opportunity to:

• Meet new people and make friends in the community;
• Have fun while addressing community needs;
• Enhance professional network, career development and cross-cultural understanding;
• Develop leadership skills;
• Gain an understanding of - and having an impact on - international humanitarian issues;
• While traveling, meet new people and get professional or medical assistance from any of the 31,000 clubs around the world;
• Involve family in promoting service efforts.
