Recent Graduate Courtney McGovern, Executive Director at Hope's In, presented to our club today about the organization's history, current plans, and hope for their future impact. McGovern discussed the organization's impact of building 29 homes, 8 weeks of medical clinics and taking over 300 volunteers from Barrington and beyond to Guatemala City to work with Potter's House Association in Zone 3 of the city. She also shared about research, funded by a New York University grant, they will be doing this summer to discover how Hope's In will come alongside children with special needs and their families. The organization hopes to empower children with special needs in Zone 3 to reach their potential, be active members in their communities, and gain access to education.   The Barrington Noon Rotary congratulate's Courtney on her great work and can't wait to see how this great cause evolves.    Please check out their website and feel free to call and donate time and/or $$$ to this great organization.
