Hammin' It Up Challenge Unveiled
At her Installation Dinner, Betsy Kmiecik announced a Member Engagement Challenge, Hammin' It Up.  Sue Duchek was tapped to head up the challenge and at last week's meeting, it was officially unveiled.  If you missed the meeting, you can watch the video of Sue's presentation here.  You will be hearing from  Jennifer Burnidge, Kris Niemann, Megan Specht or Terry Ennes our fearless team captains soon.  Let the games begin and let's have some fun.

Board Update
  • At the August Board meeting, the club and foundation budgets for the 2021-22 Rotary year were approved.   The budgets included a modest dues increase for regular and shared members that is projected to reach breakeven.   Copies of the budget have been sent to all club members.
  • The Board agreed to accept a membership challenge from the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates Club.  The club with the lower net membership increase will make a $1000 contribution to Polio Plus in the winning club's name.
Needed:  Storage Space
As of September 30, we will need to move all of our Santa Run inventory out of the Village Bank building, so we are looking for alternative places for storage.  If you have or know of storage space that we can use (preferably at no cost) please contact Betsy.
This Week is the 4th Thursday, so No Regular Meeting.
