Santa doesn’t work alone… and neither should you! Create a team and run like reindeer on Christmas Eve at the area’s oldest holiday fun run! #RunforaClaus
The 2018 Rotary Santa Run will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 10 a.m. Start the holiday season off even merrier and get your family, best buddies, or coworkers to run with you!
While the 5k Run/1-mile Walk is open to folks of all ages and abilities, it’s also chip-timed for the more competitive members of your team. With over 2,000 Santa’s cruising through downtown Arlington Heights, there’s plenty of ho ho holiday cheer to go around.
Encouraging family, friends and fellow employees to get involved not only makes for a fun team event, but also provides your group or organization an opportunity to give back to the community. Your participation provides vital funding to numerous local, regional, and international charities. Over the 11 years we’ve been running with Santa, the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights has raised over $250,000 for worthy causes in and around our area. So you’re not just doing this for your health or for fun; it’s actually a #RunforaCause.
To register as a team:

- Come up with a fun team name

Gather your loved ones and colleagues and help keep this tradition going strong. Bond with your compatriots in your tricked-out Santa suits (provided with your registration) or other holiday-themed costumes. Throw on company t-shirts and other swag to let the world know you and your organization support the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights and #MakingaDifference in your community.
After the race, stay in downtown Arlington Heights and make a day of it! Take your group to lunch at one of the many fabulous restaurants and get a jump on holiday shopping in one of the specialty stores nearby.
