April 10, 2025.   Rotary Club members gathered for a joyful and memorable occasion honoring two remarkable community figures. We celebrated the 100th birthday of longtime Rotarian Mary Stitt with balloons, cake, and a spirited “fun and frolic” segment dedicated entirely to Mary. In a touching moment, Mayor Tom Hayes presented a special proclamation recognizing Mary’s incredible milestone and her decades of service to the community.

The meeting also marked Mayor Hayes’ final “State of the Village” address. We expressed our deep appreciation for his years of dedicated leadership—first as a village trustee and later as mayor—and for his unwavering support of the Arlington Heights Rotary Club.

It was an afternoon filled with gratitude, celebration, and heartfelt community spirit.
