Our club has supported the Bringing Miracles School in Kibera Kenya for several years in a number of ways. One way is to grant scholarships to  their teachers. These scholarships allow the teachers to go to Nairobi East Dicece college to earn degrees in teaching and Early Childhood Development. Our first recipient, Joshua Ochieng, has just graduated. Even more spectacular, he graduated number one in his class. What an accomplishment. Congratulations to Joshua.
There is currently another recipient attending school and our club is granting third scholarship this year.

Two years ago our Prospect Interact club's International project was to collect school supplies for the school. Also, Jim Tompson and his family members and Mary Jablonsky have collected school supplies and clothing for the school. School administration, teachers and students are all very appreciative of our support.  They have expressed their thanks to our Rotary club in their Newsletters and to our club.

You can read more about the school on their website:  https://bringingmiracles.com
