John Poust is a retired Software Engineer. He has been involved with computers longer than he would care to discuss in public as his first major computer project was in high school programming a computer, using punch cards, to play tic-tac-toe. Yes, the computer won. He has been involved with the National Runaway Safeline (NRS) as a volunteer for over 10 years and is a recipient of the Volunteer of the Month award. Also, in reinterment and beyond volunteering at (NRS) he is involved in development of a smart watch tool to aid in memory management and improving standards for hospital acute care systems.
A Message From Our Service Project Chair, Jennifer Sultz:
Hello friends,
A reminder that we have a volunteer service project coming up next Saturday, Oct. 11 @ 10:30 am at First United Methodist Church in Evanston, 516 Church Street. Parking garage located across the street. We plan to work until noon but if anyone needs to leave early, that's fine.

A few more helpers would be much appreciated.
We will be packaging up donations of diapers to be delivered to food pantries and families in need. Please let me know if you're able to help with this fun, easy, and very impactful project serving hundreds of families in Skokie Valley and our surrounding communities.
