This week's speaker is Dick Witry.
Richard J. Witry is a life-long Skokian who attended St. Peter Grammar School. Dick and his wife Pat are active in the Skokie Historical Society and he is a published author. In 1987, he authored the Centennial history of the Luxembourg Brotherhood of America which can be found in the reference section of the Skokie Library; he consulted on the Centennial history of Skokie which was published in 1988; in 1994 he co-authored the Quasquicentennial history of St. Peter Catholic Church in Skokie and in 2012, he co-authored a pictorial history of Skokie.
He is a member of Section 15 of the Luxembourg Brotherhood of America which was founded in Niles Center in 1905. He has been President and Director of Luxembourg News from 2000-present. Dick is a former Commissioner of the Skokie Park District and served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Skokie Public Library. He is a semi-retired lawyer, avid golfer and gardener.

Last week's meeting was the in person installation luncheon at the Skokie Public Library.
The club said a fond farewell to outgoing president David Hartley and thanked him for his hard work over the last year.
Diane Krier-Morrow was sworn in by District Governor Elect Bill Kmiecik. DG Kmiecik also swore in the 2021-22 Rotary Board. Diane addressed the club outlining her goals for the year. District Governor Nominee Mary Bak was also in attendance.
It was great to see everyone in person after such a long time!
