Our club is one of eleven clubs gathering Saturday morning 10/24 at One Rotary Center, 1560 Sherman Ave in Evanston, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.  This is the headlining event of our district. Participating clubs include Skokie Valley, the 3 Evanston Clubs, 2 Glenview Clubs, Wilmette, Park Ridge, Winnetka-Northfield, Northbrook, and Deerfield.  Welcoming remarks and speakers at 9:30, kick-off of the short neighborhood walk at 10:00. Parking garage nearby on Davis Street & Benson Ave.  Formal registration will begin soon, but please email me back asap to let me know if you plan to attend (the district is trying to get an early estimated headcount).

From 1:00 - 4:00 that same afternoon, an event to raise funds for Polio Plus will take place at the Skokie Sketchbook. In partnership with the Evanston Nouveau Club, Sketchbook is releasing a limited-edition beer "Purple Pinkie" with a portion of proceeds going towards Rotary's efforts to end Polio. 4901 Main Street in Skokie. No registration necessary - just stop by and try a Purple Pinkie or take home a 4-pack!
