Monday, June 30 - Please join us for our ANNUAL PICNIC in Harms Woods beginning at 4:30 p.m. Feel free to bring family! The Rotary fiscal year begins in July and this is our annual event to swear in our club's new President and Officers, and to kick off our new Rotary year. There is no fee for this picnic meal. The parking lot entrance is on the west side of Harms Road at the intersection of Harms & Old Orchard Rd.

Friday, July 4- I am once again recruiting volunteers to assist with the Skokie July Fourth Parade!Last year, our club was in the spotlight as the designated charity recipient and this year the spotlight organization is Turning Point. Speaking on behalf of Turning Point, we would very much appreciate the club's help in supplying a volunteer squad to help out that day. Volunteers are expected to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. and stay through the parade which kicks off at noon. Breakfast will be served for volunteers and I can personally vouch that this is a very fun volunteer event! Teens are welcome to join in too as volunteers. So if you (and your family) can join us that morning, please let me know ASAP!
