Two of this year's grant recipients will present. Sue Hagedorn will speak on behalf of Bundled Blessings and their diaper bank. Joseph Gackstetter, Mitchell Museum's Development Director, will speak about a new exhibit likely to open in September of 2024.
Festival of Cultures!

A reminder that we have3 busy dayscoming up soon on May 17, 18, and 19!
The garden build day at Turning Point has been rescheduled to Friday, May 17 from Noon - 4pm. We'll be assembling new raised bed garden boxes outside (SW corner of the parking lot) and helpers are welcome to join us for as much time as you can spare within that window of time. Please dress for outdoor work, bring work gloves, and if you have any screwdrivers or cordless electric screwdrivers that would be helpful too. Turning Point is at 8324 Skokie Blvd and the parking lot behind the building can be accessed from Washington Street. We'll take a short break for refreshments at 2:00. Please let me know if you plan to attend for any portion of the afternoon – so far I have Evan, Peggy, Laurie, and Mary on my list.
And coming up on May 18 & 19, we'll be staffing our club's Rotary booth at the Festival of Cultures. We're signing up 2 people per time slot through the online form. At this point, we especially need helpers on Sunday. Here is the link to sign up:
