Denise Franklin, Deputy Chief of Police for the Village of Skokie, will present her Getting To Know You Talk. Deputy Chief Franklin brings more than two decades of law enforcement experience to this important role, and has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to strengthening Skokie’s police-community partnership. Franklin holds a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Eastern Illinois University. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command, and is a member of the department’s Crisis Intervention Team.
