Join us tomorrow (4/26) at noon at the Lake Jackson Civic Center to welcome back Brazosport College Associate Professor of History Hollis Knode! Her previous program about local history was fascinating, so we thought we should bring her back.
Brazosport Rotary Foundation Board and Board of Directors meeting will take place this Thursday, April 28 at 11:45 AM at Wurst Haus. I know several of you will be leaving for the District Conference later that day, but we have a lot to cover, including some funding requests. If you are on the board and/or foundation board, please make every effort to attend.
Our Shrimp Boil & Fish Fry Wrap-up Celebration will take place at noon on May 10, 2022 at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. 2022 Shrimp Boil Chair Chris Ballew has asked that YOU invite the sponsor you recruited for the fundraiser. Please send an RSVP to Chris Ballew at chris.ballew@ttlm.org. We will be recognizing the sponsors, presenting them with a thank-you gift, and to share with them how much we raised and how the funds are benefiting our community.
District 5890 Conference (Journey to the Mothership of Space Exploration: NASA) will take place April 28 - May 1, 2022. Rotary International Convention will take place in Houston June 4 - 8. Also, please MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the evening of June 7! We will be co-hosting a Host Hospitality social with Angleton Rotary at The Springs Event Center in Angleton. We will not have a meeting at the Civic Center that day. Rather, we will be asking members to come a little early to help set up the event, and then to attend the event as we welcome fellow Rotarians from across the globe.
