Happy Valentine's Day!

 

I am very excited to welcome Gulf Winds Quintet to tomorrow's meeting. This ensemble is made up of brass and woodwind players from our very own local orchestra, Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. Each member of the group is extremely talented and, together, they make an excellent sound. It is sure to be a fun and entertaining meeting.

 

We will also welcome Jackie Moore, who is filling in for Abby as she concentrates on getting healthy. Please be sure to thank her when you meet her. Bookkeeping for this club is a big job, and we are so grateful she has stepped up to help.

 

Our next Brazosport Rotary Board Meeting will take place at Wurst Haus on February 24 at 11:45 AM. Remember, everybody is welcome to attend and we encourage new club members to attend at least one board meeting to see how board decisions are made. Attendance qualifies as a "make up" meeting that you can use or bank.

Please remember that we will not be Zooming meetings for the foreseeable future. If you plan to attend remotely, you will need to coordinate with an attending Rotarian to use FaceTime (or equivalent). Please be sure to alert Steve Elbert, our club secretary, if you choose this option so that he can count you "present".
