Short Answer: Maybe.

 

Longer Answer: Probably. The safety of our members is the number one consideration in all things, not just during times of inclement weather. But before we go cancelling stuff, we want to make a good decision that is thoughtful and timely.

 

At this writing no organization in the area has made any announcements about whether to close or not. BISD schools will likely not make any decisions until Saturday or Sunday. My friends who work in the chemical industry say the same thing. While frozen precipitation seems possible, it is too early to make any informed judgement.

 

Lisa and I will monitor conditions throughout the weekend and make decisions about Tuesday’s meeting based on the best available information. Of course, with this and in all cases, use your own good judgement.
