Our meeting tomorrow (Tuesday, January 11, 2022) will be held at noon at the Lake Jackson Civic Center.

 

Our guest speaker will be Jennifer Finney from the Small Business Development Center, based out of Brazosport College. I am very much looking forward to hearing how the SBDC helps our community by supporting local entrepreneurs. 

 

After Jennifer speaks, we will be discussing the new plans for the Shrimp Boil & Fish Fry (January 22). Please continue to bring in sponsorships, auction items, ticket and raffle revenue, etc.

 

Don't forget to register for Rotary International Convention in Houston. The link to do so is Houston | Rotary Convention. We will also have volunteer opportunities for you to sign up for soon.

 

Please remember that we will suspend Zoom meetings after our January 22, 2022 Shrimp Boil & Fish Fry. If you plan to attend remotely, you will need to coordinate with an attending Rotarian to use FaceTime (or equivalent). Please be sure to alert Steve Elbert, our club secretary, if you choose this option so that he can count you "present".
