I don’t know about you, but I am very excited to hold our first meeting back in the Lake Jackson Civic Center on August 3.
The decision to return to the Civic Center was made with the hope that our members who were not comfortable meeting in a smaller room would feel more comfortable in the Civic Center. Also, we believe there is value in supporting local businesses when we can. Moving to the Civic Center allows us to support a variety of local restaurants and caterers.
In this edition of our weekly bulletin, and in anticipation of our August 3rd meeting, I have attached a pdf copy of the survey results from earlier this summer. This survey helps the board establish goals for the next eleven months. (How in the world did July go by so fast??!) Please review the results and feel free to reach out to me directly if you have additional ideas or further commentary.
Speaking of commentary…this section is titled “Words from Wes”, but this space does not belong exclusively to me. I welcome each of you to contribute to this section if you have something to share with our membership. We might have to title it something else. There is no requirement for it to be alliterative!
