This Saturday 2/9 is the Peace Conference and Gala. It will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Houston by NRG. EVERYRONE is welcome to attend the conference during the day. For the Gala, we are encouraged to dress in clothing from our native culture, but if you just want to buy something pretty, that is ok too. If you did NOT get an email from me about the Gala, you are not registered. As much as I dig each of you, if you didn't RSVP, there is no room at the Inn and no donkey in sight. Also, all 610 exits from 288 are closed for the next few months. Bust out your smart phones for alternate routes. 

Last week Kay Milsap joined us to talk about her fun project for the Lifeskills students in the area. She is hosting a prom where each student gets a special prom night away from their parents complete with first responder escort......because who wants to take Mom or Dad as a prom date?
