Good evening!

 

We made it! Thanks to all who came out on Saturday to help make our 60th Annual Shrimp Boil & Fish Fry a success. Working the fundraiser counted for this week's meeting, so we will not be meeting tomorrow. We will, however, meet next Tuesday, February 1 (noon at the LJ Civic Center). Our very own Brenda George will be our guest speaker.

 

We are still fundraising for this year with our online auction. Be sure to share the online auction with your friends and family. There are lots of incredible items listed on the auction site. Send the following link to your email contacts and share it on social media! 

 

 

 

Abby is fighting hard and has seen some significant improvements this week. Still, she has a long way to go before she can join us at our weekly meetings, so please keep her and her family in your hearts. We were very fortunate to have her daughter, Hannah, join us during the Shrimp Boil.  

 

Don't forget to register for Rotary International Convention in Houston. The link to do so is Houston | Rotary Convention. We will also have volunteer opportunities for you to sign up for soon.

 

We WILL NOT have a Brazosport Rotary board meeting this week, as we had originally planned. The meeting we had last week after our regular club meeting counted for January. We will pick up any agenda items we couldn't get to at our February 24, 2022 meeting (11:45 AM at Wurst Haus).

 

Please remember that we will not be Zooming meetings for the foreseeable future. If you plan to attend remotely, you will need to coordinate with an attending Rotarian to use FaceTime (or equivalent). Please be sure to alert Steve Elbert, our club secretary, if you choose this option so that he can count you "present".
