Brazosport Rotary Club Hosts Annual Shrimp Boil
April 17, 2023– The Brazosport Rotary Club will host its annual ‘Shrimp Boil and Fish Fry’ Saturday April 22, 2023, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. Tickets are $15.00 each and available from anyone in the Brazosport Rotary Club or the Shrimp Boil Website,

st Brazosport Rotary Shrimp Boil and Fish Fry and the only fund raiser of the year for the club.
Car and TV Raffle
Like the meal tickets, car raffle tickets are available on the
SHRIMP BOIL WEBSITE. The buyer will need to create an account to purchase car raffle tickets and can use this same account to buy tickets for food. Continuing the tradition started in 2013 a raffle for a 55 inch 'Smart TV' is part of the fund-raising effort. All proceeds from the TV Raffle go to help eradicate polio.
Since 2013, the TV raffle contributed $43,750.00. The Gates Foundation contributes 2-1 so the total amount is $131,250.
Our Brazosport Rotary has directly helped provide polio vaccine to thousands of children around the globe. There are other raffle items that will be present at the event.

Brazosport Rotary Club Shrimp Boil Background
The Brazosport Rotary Club was founded in 1948. The club's mission is to improve the quality of life in the community through various service projects. Starting with a handful of attendees in 1965 today, it is attended by thousands. The Brazosport Rotary Club Shrimp Boil is part of the fabric of southern Brazoria County history. It is a tradition that brings people together and supports important causes. The event is a testament to the power of community service and the impact that a group of dedicated individuals can have on their community.
