Rotarian Shellye Wilson invited Darrell Boltz to be our speaker, noon at our regular meeting this week at the Kaley Center on the corner of Logan/South 10th. Darrell will speak about local agriculture, including the new crop in the area:  Sun Spuds.

Darrell retired from the Canyon County Extension Office in 1999 after serving for many years as an Extension Agent working with our agricultural community.

After his retirement from this office, he served for 14 years as a representative for District 10, seat B, in our state legislature. In 2015, while serving in the state legislature, he was awarded a “Lincoln Award,” which is given to someone who demonstrates leadership qualities in the sprint of Abraham Lincoln.
