...a widow's journey through grief
to helping others through awareness!
Diana Register is a California transplant living in the beautiful state of Idaho. As a new widow, she is leaning how to embrace her grief and find her "grief gifts" in the new life she is learning how to navigate.

With the help of her friends, family and amazing children, Stephen, Savanna, Shane and Kaitlyn, she is not just learning how to survive, but how to flourish and thrive in her grief.
It is her greatest wish that she can help others who are grieving find their paths as well. Diana also founded the IAM149 foundation in her late husband's honor that gives back to pancreatic cancer patients (
Check her out on Facebook (Grief Life) and watch for Grief Life to hit the road when she begins grief seminars. You can also find her writing on and on Facebook at "Diana Stefano Register - Author".

“Beer I drink, I feel ashamed......

Then I look into the glass and think

about the workers in the brewery

and all of their hopes and dreams.

If I did not drink this beer,

they might be out of work and

their dreams would be shattered.

I think, it is better to drink this beer

and let their dreams come true,

than be selfish

and worry about my liver.”

Hooray! Caldwell Rotary’s Brewfest this past Saturday was a huge success! We had our first Brewfest at Memorial Park three years ago. It was smallish, but well received and interest was piqued to continue and build on it.

Last year was our first time at Indian Creek Plaza and we ran out of the 500 mugs we had and also ran out of beer before it was through. We learned a lot from that one.

But this year, this year! OH WOW! 800 mugs were ordered and over 600 were sold for the event. The day went so smoothly. This event has great potential to grow every year as the word continues to get out.

Causes drive fundraisers and our community appreciates our efforts to continue to support our area veterans and community projects that involve our youth and others.

Thank you all our volunteers and our Caldwell Rotary Foundation for not only all their hard work, but for a great community event enjoyed by all!
