Laurie Macrae, an AmeriCorps VISTA assigned to IDOC Probation and Parole in Caldwell at the District 3 office is currently working as a Community Mentor Coordinator, matching mentors from the community (volunteers) with returning citizens who are under supervision with Idaho Department of Correction, in order to assist them with a successful re-entry as a part of their support system.
She and her supervisor, Jeff Kirkman from Idaho Dept. of Correction and will be giving a short presentation about the program. It's currently an all-volunteer program,
