Sadie Dittenber, daughter of Mike and Tammy Dittenber, spent her Rotary Youth Exchange year in Sweden, leaving last August and returning on June 14th of this year. The buttons on her jacket symbolize places and experiences that she had while on her exchange. She had to learn the language of her exchange country. Sadie spoke of her experience to our club and really expanded her horizons, not only geographically, but also personally. Rotary is a "true exchange" program, where when Rotary District 5400 sends out a certain number of students on exchanges all over the world, our District receives that same number from other countries in return. Sadie was sponsored by Caldwell Rotary Club.
