Krazy Coupon Lady
May 29, 2019
Rotarian Aaron Lamb has invited his wife, Nikki Lamb (Aaron’s wife), who is the Manager of Partnerships for the “Krazy Coupon Lady,” to be our speaker. Nikki has an entrepreneurial background starting a number of award-winning companies and brought others to market viability. She was recruited by KCL to help advance sales and partnerships during KCL’s high-growth phase. Nikki resides in Boise, Idaho with her family, two dogs and two cats. The Krazy Coupon Lady was founded by two mothers in Boise in 2009 who were trying to save money on their grocery bills every month. These smart ladies were extremely successful in finding and combining deals and coupons and wanted to share this information with others just like them. That was 10 years ago and now the company is thriving in Eagle, Idaho with about 50 employees. KCL has partnered with companies like Proctor and Gamble, Kimberly Clark, Coupons.com and several others to help brands create awareness, sales, and acquire customers and help moms stretch their budgets. The Krazy Coupon Lady founders, Joanie Demer and Heather Wheeler, have been guests on shows such as The Doctors, Harry Connick, Jr, Rachel Ray, Good Morning America, Martha Stewart and others. In addition to the good they do in the marketplace, KCL started a foundation that helps refugees acquire everyday items that can be tough to afford. The KCL “store” includes items like diapers, shoes and toilet paper and refugees in need can “shop” at the foundation store. KCL has also donated shoes and backpacks to local schools and even brought busloads of refugee children to the build-a-bear store last year for stuffed animals. |
