A new Gender Policy, with wide reaching implications for both men and women to afford

them security, freedoms and opportunities to excel to their full potential and eliminate all forms

of sex-based violation and discrimination, is expected to be implemented in 10 years.

After attending a Gender Policy workshop held recently in Nassau, during which many

issues concerning gender equality were targeted and strategies to bring this about put forth, Ms.

Constance McDonald, local Attorney-at-Law, shared this vital information with fellow

Rotarians at the Rotary Club of Freeport’s weekly meeting.
