A note from Tom Hart-
Ever wake up in the morning humming "zip a dee doo dah" but then as the day moves on the winds change, fog comes in and gets cold? No, it is not going to rain Sunday, but sorry to say, we need to postpone the Red and Blue Badge Celebration to a later time when social gathering is safer. Although the event was going to be outdoors, mask wearing and social distancing maintained, some members responded requesting we wait for less restrictive COVID levels.
Also, concern was also expressed that Fredrick St Park is very crowded with families, dogs etc so finding a place for our celebration coupled with parking may pose a challenge as well.
In the meantime, stay safe and if you are a sponsor, mentor or just a socially-minded Sunrise Rotarian, consider welcoming these Red and New Blue Badge members with a call or email: This information is also found in the ClubRunner App.

Thank you to MaryAnne, she just created a Red Cross Blood Donor Team called “Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Club”. I know that many of our Club members regularly donate blood and I thought it would be fun to have us all in a Team to track our impact. Once a person joins the Team their donations are counted in the totals. Join my team and help American Red Cross save even more lives. Link Take a photo-
