- Rotary Club of Santa Cruz Sunrise Board Meeting, Friday, February 28 at 7:15am at the American Red Cross 2960 Avenue off of the frontage road.
- District Area 7 Speech Contest on Thursday, March 5 at 3:20pm at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education at 400 Encinal Street in Santa Cruz close to Costco. All welcome to attend, very impressive students one of whom will be selected to attend the District 5170 speech contest on April 18th. 3:15pm - 5:30pm
- Rotary Social at the Kaiser Permanente Warriors stadium in Santa Cruz on March 10 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Bring a friend, bring a bottle of wine or a drink to share- all Rotarian’s welcome. Wear white soled shoes if you want to compete in the free throw on the court. There are prizes!!! $5 entrance fee. RSVP by March 6th. Jmstone929@gmail.com
- Firecracker Meeting, The Firecracker is a 10k, 5k & 1K race that is held each year on the 4th of July, this is one of our club's signature events. Our commitee meeting will be Thursday, March 12, April 9, April 23, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 11, June 25 at 7:30am at the Abbey Coffehouse, 350 Mission Street in Santa Cruz. All are welcome, lots of ways to get engaged and have fun.
- Rotary District 5170 Community Service - Local Projects: Saturday, March 14 at University of Silicon Andhra 1521 California Circle, Milpitas. 8:30am – 12pm. Sign-up to showcase local projects a check out this link. Great event to invite a guest to attend as this will showcase the local projects happening in our Rotary District.
- Meals on Wheels Area 7 Rotary week, Rotary Week is March 16th – 20th. There are opportunities at each of their dining sites as well as tagging along on a delivery route throughout our county. First come, first served. You sign up for a day and location that works for you Sign up link
- Rotary Night at the Santa Cruz Warriors Basketball Game on Friday, March 20. Ticket link to come. Jeff Kirk
- Rotary International Grant / Trip to Guatemala - more information to follow. If you want to attend, speak with Patrice Keet.
- Rotary District Training for you and your Club Members: Saturday, April 18 at Silicon Andhra 1521 California Circle, Milpitas 8am – 3pm. Bring your incoming board members and new members to the club. This will also showcase the Speech contestants. Always a treat.
