Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Update December 8, 2018

  • Rotary Foundation - Our Goal is "every Rotarian, every year". Please support the foundation with a financial gift. The money comes back to our club to support the amazing projects that we do.  Contact Rod Caborn or Jon Winston if you have questions on how to make a donation.

  • Holiday Party, Dancing and Fellowship, Thursday, December 13, 2018. Seacliff Inn. 6:00 p.m.Tickets are $45 per person. Contact Mary Alsip 
  • "The Science and Art of Leadership" by John Lipp- A seminar for volunteer based organizations. December 15 from 8:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. at Los Gatos Lodge. Registration Link here If you want to carpool, let Camilla know. 
  • Rotary Night and Project Pajamas at the the Santa Cruz Warriors: Saturday, December 15. The link to purchase tickets is  www.santacruzbasketball.com/pajamas.  Ticket prices range from $23 to $37.  Jen Karno is scheduled to sing the Anthem.  We have a generous incentive: If at least 25 tickets are purchased by our club members through the above special link (that’s only 13 people buying a pair!) then Jon Winston will randomly choose one of those purchasers to exchange their purchased seats for his mid-court floor seats (valued at $340 including reserved parking)  One entry in the drawing for each pair purchased.  Drawing will take place at the Tuesday Dec 11th club meeting if the minimum is reached.

  • Pre-Pets: Saturday, February 9, 2019 TBA

Do you have jobs or tasks that need to be done in your office, yard work, catering, helping you with your social media skills contact Rotarct- they have students who will help you out. Fee is $10.00 per hour. This is a great way to support Rotaract and they use this as a fundraiser. Email Rotaract

  • Shadowbrook Rotary mixer in the Rock Bar or go have dinner on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. Tell them that you are there to support the Red Cross and they will donate 30% of your bill to Red Cross.
