Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Update April 18, 2020

We’re Zocializing! Wednesdays and Fridays we’re having hosted Zocials. Watch your email for themes and timing. All you need is an internet connection. We use Zoom for the meeting. And if you’d like to host a Zocial, contact Steve Landau or Lisa Krigsman. 
  • Congratulations to our April Rotarian of the Month: George Bunch.
  • Sunrise Sewtarians: Help to make handmade masks to serve our community.  If you would like to join our Sewtarians, please contact Lisa Krigsman. We have a request from Faris for 50 for the COE and a request from the Santa Cruz Metro for 75.  Help if you can with materials, sewing or just general encouragement.
  • Rotary District 5170 Coronavirus Town Hall: Monday, April 20 from 5pm - 6pm. This is a follow-up COVID-19 Zoom meeting updating Rotarians on the new developments and continuing challenges we are facing together during the pandemic.  Register to participate in the webinar at this link
  • Firecracker Meeting, The Firecracker  is a 10k, 5k & 1K race that is held each year on the 4th of July, this is one of our club's signature events. Our  commitee meeting will be Thursday, April 30, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 11, June 25 at 7:30am via Zoom. 
  • Rotary Club of Santa Cruz Sunrise Board Meeting, Friday, April 24 at 7:15am - We will have a Zoom meeting.
Upcoming Tuesday Morning Meetings 7:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Great opportunity to bring a guest and introduce them to our club.   ​
