Wanted: Someone to take over the role of Reveille Editor
(No Experience in Journalism Required, Just Opinions)
Pretty soon, yours truly will be stepping down as newsletter editor, and no, it's not because I said something controversial that got me into trouble with the Rotary gods (although word on the street is that this is still under investigation).
Job requirements: can type, has a pulse....
Perks: mild fame, power to publish embarrassing photos, my eternal gratitude.
Interested? Reply to me or talk to me at some upcoming meeting.

Over $11,000 raised for Nepal flash flood survivors to date!  After a short video on what's happening in Nepal and hearing from the VP of Shelterbox that they are actively coordination with local Rotary Clubs, Keith Henderson shared what Shelterbox, a trusted Rotary partner, does on the ground in disasters and the very real and immediate impact they make in people's lives, using examples from his past deployments with Shelterbox.

With an initial donation $500 pledge from Cathleen Eckhardt and offering donated Nepalese textiles and Tibetan prayer flags from Tony Gianotti to those donating over $100, we asked members on the spot what they might be able to give. Boy, was the response overwhelming! To date we have raised over $11,000  and will be able to donate funds to purchase at least 11 complete tent kits for displaced Nepalese families. Donations will be accepted until Friday September 25 and then funds will be transmitted to Shelterbox. To donate, please follow this link.

Thank you sincerely for your generosity Sunrise Rotarians!
