It's fun, it's cool and it's bound to be the greatest race ever! Join the firecracker organizing committee by sending an email to Dave Price.

Everyone is invited to contribute to a video montage for Rod. Rod cherishes the connection he has with each of you. All the videos will be combined into a heartfelt gift that celebrates our shared love and appreciation. You can record directly on your webcam using the Tribute website.

There is also an update about his condition posted on his Go Fund Me page.

Rotarians Build a House in a Day
-- Dave Price--

“We could hardly achieve in a lifetime what we accomplished in one day”
On November 7, in partnership with the wonderful Finding Sophia organization, thirteen Rotarians from Santa Cruz Sunrise and four other Rotary Clubs, friends and family built, from scratch, a new 500 square foot house in one day and delivered its keys to a single mother and her three children in Tecate, Mexico, just over the border from San Diego. More than converting this family’s house from a dark, dirty floor shanty to a clean, light-filled and dry place to sleep at night with a locking front door, it provided mom and kids with an important step up to a life of feeling safe.

This experience also opened each of our own lives to a new source of warm and bright light, fueled by love, compassion and service above self!

On our 3-day travel, we also met with members of the Rotary Club of Tecate #4 to visit and tour their multi-service medical clinic in Tecate, assist them with one of their primary school refurbishment projects and learn about their aspirations to build a full-service childcare facility. It was so inspiring to see what our fellow Rotarians have and continue to accomplish!
