Youth Exchange After a 2 year pause, Youth Exchange is active again. Darlene de la Cerna, who in addition to being a member of our Club is also the Youth Exchange Chair for District 5170, re-introduced the program as well as our two students this year, Abril Lopez Barba from Spain and Alice Nordin from Sweden. We're sure they will have a wonderful year.
Blue Innovation Table Sunday September 11
Our Club is hosting a table as an opportunity to support this event, meet new people, and introduce them to Rotary. Club volunteers are needed, please contact either Mary Alsip or Jerry Souza.
Mary Gaukel inspired with a new framework for supporting youth with vocational information. There will be multiple opportunities through the year to participate and support the effort to help students from Delta, Costanoa, and other targeted schools to develop a better understanding of the opportunities ahead of them.
The Bike Ride! Fundraising is in full-swing. There are tips and suggestions on the ride website. Next training ride the weekend of September 10, stay tuned for more info.
