• Recognition and Congratulations: Past District Governor Richard Flanders recognized Club members for their service to the District over the last year. Congratulations to Darlene De La Cerna, Youth Service Chair; Jon Winston, Guru of Grants; and John Flaniken, Distinguished Club President. 

• The Land of Milk and Honey - Private Tour

  Debra Feldstein and Patrice Keet invite you and a guest to Santa Cruz Rotary Sunrise's private tour of The Land of Milk and Honey, on Thursday, October 13, 6-7:30PM. The Rotary Club Santa Cruz Sunrise members will have a private tour of this amazing exhibit at the Museum of Art and History arranged with the help of Nikki Patterson, Director of Development and Communications at the MAH.

  After the tour, those who are able are encouraged to stay for a casual dinner at Abbott Square!

• Redwoods Saved! Rotary to the Rescue Join the Santa Cruz Club, October 21, in partnership with the Mountain Parks Foundation, as we venture back 100 years to the storied beginning of the Rotary Club of Santa Cruz. How, during the bedlam of the Roaring 20's, did the fledgling club enlist Rotary International to help save our beloved giant redwood trees for generations to come? • Project Pajama is back! You've seen them, you've worn them, and now it's your chance to give some away. October 22 is the deadline for donating new pajamas (with tags attached). Or you can make a donation and pajamas will be purchased to help children of all ages have a nice, clean pair of pajamas to sleep in. The need is greater than you would imagine.
