Saturday, October 13th, was one of the busiest Sunrise Rotarian days of the year.  The morning began with  members showing up early in the morning at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Watsonville to prepare the barrels for the holiday food drive.   In about two hours, the work was completed and hundreds of barrels had been prepped.

Then, the group headed over to Chanticleer Park for the Leo's Haven dedication.   The children had prepared a special musical performance of "This is Me" from the movie the Greatest Showman.   There was not a dry eye in the park!

Later that afternoon, the Sunrisers met at the Harbor for the Chardonnay II  Sunset Cruise.   The evening was perfect and many members even took the helm and piloted the boat!     Wine and appetizers were shared and a lot of fellowship and laughter rounded out the beautiful views of the shoreline.    This "Super Saturday" was a day to remember...  The next "social" event for Sunrise is the annual Christmas Party:  Black and White Soiree, on Thursday, December 13th at 5:30 pm at the Seacliff Room at Severinos.
