Flag season is upon us! So far we have 113 paid flags, 77 of which are renewals. Boardman Rotary has decided not to continue their flag program so we will be purchasing their flags and drill from them and also absorbing everything east of Market St into Poland as potential customers. Canfield Rotary will have everything west of Market.
Anyone who has not given their check to Shelly for renewal, please do so.
Rotary Park
Mike Massucci is having children from Poland School paint rocks to decorate Rotary Park. Date to put them in is TBD. Also Steve and David have been meeting with other clubs in Poland to get a plan together for armed forces flags to be flown there as well. More info to follow.
Rotary District Conference
The conference is to be held on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11 at the Avalon.
Next Weeks Meeting
We will not have a lunch meeting next week. Instead we will meet at Alberini's at 11:45 and head out to distribute door hangers in Poland to promote the flag program.
Board Meeting
The board meeting has been changed to Friday, May 4th at 8:00 due to the fact that many board members will not be available this week. All are welcome.
