Today's speaker was Gina Pastella. Gina is a consultant and life coach. Gina spoke about the importance of gratitude; she stated that gratitude is the single, clearest, fastest way to evince more of what is good in your life. Her presentation focused on five ways to manifest gratitude: 1.) start a daily practice of gratitude (e.g., a gratitude journal); 2.) use gratitude to shift perspective in the moment; 3.) show sincere gratitude towards others; 4.) go to sleep grateful; and 5.) master the feeling of gratitude.

Here is a photo of Chris Cruciger and John Kufleitner, who partnered with Poland Rotary and donated $1,000 for purchase of coats for Operation Warm. Poland Rotary will match the $1,000 for which 100 coats for children have been ordered and will be distributed among three local children’s charitable organizations. The charitable organizations include Sojourner House, St. Vincent DePaul, and Someplace Safe Domestic Violence Shelter.  The distribution date will be determined once the coats arrive.
Also, At Today's Meeting:
  • Larry Warren won the Queen of Hearts.
  • It was noted that the flags will have to be taken down after November 11, which is Veterans Day. Thus, we will need the entire club to take a route to get the flags down before we store the flags for the winter months.
  • Reminder: There is a Chili Open and Fellowship meeting tonight at at 6:30pm at the home of Chris Cruciger (150 Rocky Ledge Drive, Struthers, Ohio  44471). All members are encouraged to attend.
