Today's speaker was Dana Balash. Dana is WFMJ’s Sports Director and half of the Double Coverage sports team, which he anchors each weeknight at 6:00 and 11:00pm with Mike Case and has been with the station since 1985. Dana is a home grown product of the Mahoning Valley. He grew up in Hubbard then attended Kent State and YSU. Dana lives in Poland with his wife and daughter.
District Meeting
Please remember no meeting on August 8th. Instead, please join us at the District Meeting on Thursday, August 9th at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Social Hall for the district meeting. Doors open at 5:30 and the cost will be covered by the club for Rotarians. You are welcome to bring a guest and the charge will be $20.00 and will include dinner, beer, wine and soda.

Military Family Center Festival
The Canton Rotary will be hosting a festival to benefit PTSD recovery for first responders and military families on August 10th from 4-9pm at 5495 Meese Rload in Louisville.
