This statement defines what Jayne Van Bramer brings to Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) and it serves as the mission statement for LBHH. Her experience, passion and dedication in the behavioral healthcare field serves as the footprint of the quality and care provided to each person that chooses this hospital for care.
Prior to LBHH, Ms. Van Bramer served as the Vice President of Behavioral Health at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, where she led the revitalization of the behavioral health service by enhancing recovery-oriented programming and practices, improving patient and family satisfaction scores, strengthening key quality indicators, increasing census, and contributing to community suicide prevention efforts and police Crisis Intervention Training.
In this role, Van Bramer improved the facility’s credibility with the community, expanded working relationships with local universities and was appointed to the national Corporate Behavioral Health Council.
From 2011 to 2015, she served as the Senior Associate Commissioner for New York State Office of Mental Health where she led the largest public mental health system in the country with over 25,000 individuals in care and 10,000 employees. As a part of the New York State Office of Mental Health’s executive team, she supervised 19 Executive Directors of Child and Adult Psychiatric Centers and all related inpatient residential and outpatient services. While there, Van Bramer improved outcomes related to suicide prevention, continuity of care, length of stay, engagement and health and wellness. In addition, she ensured the adoption and delivery of evidence-based treatment, care and trauma-informed practices.
Ms. Van Bramer earned her Master’s of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Oswego, her Master’s of Arts with distinction in Applied Research and Evaluation from Hofstra University in New York, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Ryan Wilhelm by Bill Boben – Ryan is a portfolio manger for PeoplesBank in York, PA. Ryan is from Red Lion, plays golf and volunteers at TABOR. Ryan was on the ski trip last year where Bill told him about Rotary.
Bruce Alton by Jamie Alton – Jamie introduced his father as a new member telling the group that Bruce is the reason he is here at Rotary today. Obviously, Jamie’s father is reason number one, but secondly, Bruce is a Past President of the Billings Montana Rotary Club. He also served as president of a small college. Bruce completed consulting work in DC and is retired now, but volunteers at PowerPacks. He also demonstration blacksmith with the Park Service.
Bruce Wolff by Terry Radcliffe - Bruce has been a Rotarian for 30 years and is a PHF. He was a member in York, PA and most recently in the Rehobeth Beach Sunrise Club. Bruce has been involved in many Rotary and community projects, including bringing Little League Baseball and building two fields. Raised in Hanover, Bruce attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia, 5 years in the Air force and started an advertising & graphic arts design company. He has a son in North Carolina and a daughter in Lancaster with a total of 4 grandchildren.
Bruce is Terry’s neighbor at the Farmstead section of Homestead Village, so he can keep a close eye on Terry!

Bill Patrick announced the Club to save the date of February 7, 2019 for the Annual Ski Trip. The Vipers have already met and are scheming and planning shenanigans.
