Kevin R. Molloy has been Executive Director of the Lancaster County Convention Center Authority since May 19, 2008.
During his time at the LCCCA, Kevin saw to the public's interest (LCCCA) in the integrated facility from construction, grand opening, and the first 10 years of operation.
Over this ten-year period the LCCCA challenges ranged from a depressed economy when the doors opened, to addressing realities in pre-opening proforma, to actual profitability, bond financing and its ongoing process of term renewals, to the shift in marketing strategies reflecting changes in the LCCCA's strategic priorities and mission.
Since July 2014, with the Collaboration Agreement in place between the LCCC, the City of Lancaster, Lancaster County, and Discover Lancaster, the LCCC has had the resources for increased marketing efforts targeting larger events, with an emphasis on attendees that utilize Lancaster County Lodging properties.
Kevin is a veteran in the Convention Center industry, and has served two terms on an international association board representing small convention centers.
He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. In an effort to pass on his knowledge to the next generation, Kevin taught evening classes as an Adjunct Professor at Mercyhurst University in Erie Pennsylvania for 6 years.
Kevin's hobbies include: Judging food contests, and Coaching Ice Hockey.
Prior to coming to Lancaster, Kevin was the General Manager of the Bayfront Convention Center, in Erie Pennsylvania, where he was involved with all aspects of the successful development, construction, grand opening, startup, and operations of the new venue.
Kevin is married to Lisa Molloy, who works at Atomic Design in Lititz.
Together they have one son Kyle, who is a Penn State Graduate with an MBA.

Holiday 2019 Secret Angel Program of the Rotary Club of Lancaster’s
Refugee Center Committee
Our Club’s Refugee Center Committee has goal of filling Secret Angel holiday gift bags for 70 refugee children attending Reynolds Middle School. For many, this bag will be the only present they will receive during the holiday season.
We need your help to bring big smiles to 70young faces! Here’s what to do:
Fill a Holiday gift bag with $45 to $50 worth of items and return it to the Secret Angel Program table at the club by November 27th, 2019. Details and student-specific shopping lists with improved instructions will be available starting at the back of the room October 30th, 2019.
Imagine how happy you will make one child!
Wednesday, November 27th is the deadline for returning the filled bag to the Club.
President Jeremy has announced that all volunteer positions for this year’s tournament on November 15th through the 17th. You may still volunteer for the event. Come out and enjoy the comradery and lend hand if you wish.
The committee still needs singers to sing the National Anthem. Contact Caleb Brown to help!
Rotary Crab Feast
Tuesday, November 12th is the date for the Crab Feast. We will be taking a bus leaving from the Farm and Home Center promptly at 4:30 p.m. and heading to The Wellwood in Charlestown, MD.
The menu will include: Maryland Crab Soup, Steamed Hardshell Crabs, Steamed Shrimp, Fried Chicken, French Fries, Chef's Potato Salad and soda, iced tea and coffee.
The cost is $75 per person which includes the food, bus, and drinks and snacks on the bus. If you are interested, please let Lisa Lewis (daytonduo@aol.com) or Lisa Groff (lisa_groff@comcast.net) know or sign up at the next Rotary meeting if you didn't sign up this week.
