Rotary Member Spotlight
Congratulations to Gil Bixler who was recently elected Commandant of the Marine Corps League of Lancaster County. He is also the national winner of the Toys for Tots leaders in this northeast region. Awesome job, Gil!

RCL Club Facilitator
President Althea is pleased to announce Bob McClenathan as the new Club Facilitator. In this newly defined role, Bob will facilitate district and global grant applications. He will also assist the past president in maintaining the board of directors’ succession. He will work with the Rotary Foundation Committee to recommend strategies to the board of directors for the Foundation, focus on fundraising and improving community outreach.  Thank you for all you continue to do for our Club, Bob!

RCL Board Changes
There was recently a change to the Rotary Club Board, as Paul Lynch has decided to step down so he can focus on being with his wife, Kelly, through her ongoing health issues. We wish Paul, Kelly, and the kids all the best!

Rob Gallagher has agreed to step up and become the new Secretary on the Board. Eric Elliott has come on board as a Director. We are thankful for these new additions of leadership to the Club!

Note from Past Secretary
The Club recently received a sweet note from a past club secretary. Barbara Kreider, now 85 years old, spent 17 years as a club secretary. She currently lives in a retirement home in Iowa. She wishes the members her best and loves getting the Rotarian magazine!

Help Keep the Club Calendar Updated

All Rotarians – especially committee chairs – are encouraged to help keep our new Club Calendar full and updated with the great things that our Club is doing in the community.  Please submit any items you would like added to Kathy by e-mailing her at RotaryClubofLancaster@gmail.com.  Examples include the schedule of McCaskey Mentoring Sessions, Committee Meetings, Power Packs or Salvation Army Bell Ringing. If it’s happening, let’s get it on the Calendar for all to see!  Your help will keep us all updated with what’s going on within the Club AND will showcase our very active Club to the Lancaster Community and to prospective members.  The Club Calendar is available at www.LancasterRotary.org
