RCL Fellowship Event?
Perhaps there should be a RCL Fellowship event to “green” Centre County, whereas we can all get our hair cut, colored, yes, we are The RCL, we get our hair colored, eat at Kelly’s Steak House and then visit The Rathskellar or Otto’s Pub for drinks.
We of course must still follow the guidelines set forth by the powers to be:
Any gathering for a planned or spontaneous event of greater than 250 individuals is prohibited.
We will have to watch our numbers closely
Places of worship are excluded from the limitations that are established by the order, but are encouraged to enforce social distancing and other measures such as wearing masks.
The Chaplain Committee can come-up with a service on the bus
Restaurants and bars open at 50% occupancy
We may have to choose a bigger bar
Personal care services (including hair salons and barber shops) open at 50% occupancy and by appointment only
Appointments will have to be made, hence the Registration Committee. They’ve not been busy lately.
Indoor recreation, health and wellness facilities, and personal care services (such as gyms and spas) open at 50% occupancy with appointments strongly encouraged
Don’t need to worry about this on this excursion. No exertion on the excursion.
All entertainment (such as casinos, theaters and shopping malls) open at 50% occupancy
No worries, Wally will provide all the entertainment we can handle.
All businesses must follow CDC and DOH (Department of Health) guidance for social distancing and cleaning
Just use the RCL rule used when looking for a seat at the lunch meeting. Example: “Where’s PP Minney? Okay, see him, I’ll sit over here.”
Monitor public health indicators, adjust orders and restrictions as necessary
I think this means to watch the “liquorheads” in the Club and handle accordingly.
Now, are we “legal” to load a bus at the Farm & Home Center to get out of the “yellow zone?” We may have to contact the Greater Ronks Rotary Club for buggy service.
