Joe Mieczkowski is a retired Federal Executive and a Licensed Battlefield Guide for the Gettysburg National Military Park. Joe is a Past President of both The Association of Licensed Battlefield Guides and The Gettysburg Civil War Roundtable. In addition, Joe is on the faculty of the Lincoln Leadership Institute in Gettysburg, PA .
He has three books to his credit including “After Gettysburg: Lee retreats and Meade pursues” and “Jefferson Davis and his Cabinet.” Joe has been a featured author on C-Span and writes for The Civil War News.
Joe is a resident of Fairfield, PA, where he lives with his wife, Chris.

The Rotary Golf Outing has been cancelled due to lack of participants.
2018 RCL Basketball Extravaganza
The Basketball Extravaganza is seeking the participation of all Rotarians. Buying ads, and paying for them, buying tickets and paying for them, signing up to work any shift in the three-day event, and recruiting friends’, neighbors, and even democrats to help raise money for the largest of all our fundraisings activities will be greatly appreciated.

Rotary Rendezvous
Rotary Rendezvous for October 24th will be a presentation on The United States Navy Submarines. Dan Cooper who used to drive submarines and supervise all those that served on them in the north Atlantic Ocean will be our presenter. It has been reported that Dan will be the Rendezvous.
