Kevin M. Ressler gained his B.A. in Justice, Peace, and Conflict Studies from Eastern Mennonite University and his Masters of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary.
As the director of Meals on Wheels of Lancaster, he has focused on improving technologies and procedures to deliver a more consistent service with improved products. The ability to track the full impact for recipients has been of particular focus.
Under Kevin’s leadership Meals on Wheels of Lancaster has grown in clients and volunteers. The work has also expanded around social visitations, connecting individuals to other services, and improved the consistency and quality of the nutrition on offering. Finances have also been stabilized culminating in the purchase and renovation of a new location equipped to build the capacity of the organization.
Perhaps most importantly, though, has been increasing the public awareness and profile or an organization so integral to the health of our community. It is amazing what an army of 400 regular volunteers can accomplish when they all come together in common purpose.
